Job description

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Weโ€™re redefining the future of menswear, with performance-driven apparel that looks sharp, feels great, and works in real life. We act like owners, never settle for average, and move with urgency. At Jack Archer, weโ€™re a team of builders, united by intention and an obsession with delivering for our customers.

Fulfilled by Jack (FBJ) is our Kansas City fulfillment business. Built on the same 112,000 square foot operation we used to scale Jack Archer, FBJ now runs fulfillment for outside DTC brands as a third-party logistics partner. Weโ€™re not a commodity 3PL; weโ€™re operators who run a live brand through our own building every day, and we sell that operating credibility to the founders we serve. Come join us and do the best work of your career!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Manager II to own the day-to-day operation of our Kansas City fulfillment center end to end. This is a site-level leadership role with full responsibility for the floor across both our in-house Jack Archer fulfillment and our growing book of external 3PL-FBJ client brands.

You will run a multi-client environment across multiple warehouse management systems, keep every brand to its service commitments, and lead the supervisor and associates who execute receiving, picking, packing, and shipping each day. As FBJ onboards new brands, you will own their operational launch and ongoing performance. This role is the operational face of FBJ to our clients, and the person who makes sure the experience we sell is the experience brands actually get. Youโ€™ll report to the VP, Fulfillment.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

  • Own daily fulfillment operations end to end across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping for both Jack Archer and all external FBJ client brands.
  • Lead the full site team, including shift supervisors, leads, and associates; own labor planning, scheduling, and daily staffing to match volume across all brands.
  • Hold every client to its service level agreements (SLAs), including order cycle time, fill rate, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy; surface and resolve risks before they become misses.
  • Manage a multi-client, multi-system operation, including order routing, inventory segregation by brand, and accurate fulfillment across more than one warehouse management system (WMS) and order management system (OMS).
  • Own the operational onboarding of new FBJ brands, from inbound receipt and slotting through go-live and steady-state performance, partnering with the technical and account teams.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for client brands, supporting facility tours, launch readiness, and day-to-day service questions in a way that reflects FBJโ€™s operator-grade reputation.
  • Run daily standups and shift handoffs, and keep the floor organized, safe, and audit-ready across all client accounts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on errors, delays, and SLA exceptions, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain operational reports and dashboards and provide daily and weekly performance updates to the VP, including per-brand performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Customer Service, Technology, and Business Development, to resolve fulfillment issues and support process improvements.
  • Support inventory management activities across all brands, including cycle counting, stock adjustments, and inventory receipt reconciliation.
  • Enforce safety, quality, and SOP compliance across the site, and coach the team to standard.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years directly leading teams, preferably in e-commerce and DTC.
  • Experience running a multi-client 3PL or multi-brand fulfillment operation strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); comfort operating across more than one system and within ERP or OMS environments.
  • Proven ability to manage to client SLAs and own customer-facing operational performance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop both hourly and salaried teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL/Snowflake, Mode, or equivalent tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with client brands and collaborate across functions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety.
  • Proactive problem solver who stays calm and decisive under peak volume and across competing client priorities.
  • Knowledge of fulfillment best practices and industry standards.

WHY YOUโ€™LL LOVE IT HERE

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Direct impact on the growth of one of the fastest-scaling menโ€™s apparel brands, and the fulfillment business built on top of it
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Competitive salary
  • โค๏ธ 100% medical, dental, vision coverage
