Director of Social Services – Make a Difference Every Day

McKnight Place Extended Care, an award-winning senior living community in St. Louis, is looking for a Director of Social Services to support residents and families while leading a comprehensive psychosocial care program. This role is key in advocating for resident needs, guiding families, and fostering a positive, supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead resident service plan meetings and maintain psychosocial care documentation

  • Support residents and families with resources and resident rights

  • Educate staff and families on mental health, dementia, and related topics

  • Complete assessments (MMSE, GDS, FAST) for new residents

  • Refer residents to community agencies when needed

  • Serve as weekend Manager on Duty on rotation
