Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working with our senior population

  • Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual

  • High level of emotional intelligence

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan

  • Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

  • Provide Companionship

  • Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

  • Shopping and Errands

  • Meal Preparation

  • Medication Reminders

  • Pet Care

  • Light Yard Work

  • Light Handyman Services

  • Overnight Supervision

  • Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

  • Assist with Dressing

  • Assist with Feeding

  • Assist with Showering / Bathing

  • Mobility Assistance

  • Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

  • Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on Time for all Services

  • Maintain documentation of all services provided

  • Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff

  • Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff

  • Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible

  • Clock in and out using our care management system
