Job description

We have an opening for an IT Site Operations Lead in Cleveland, OH. This role is with a fast-growing, people focused company with plenty of room for career advancement. The role will require for the candidate to be onsite and is a Direct Hire opportunity.

The IT Site Operations Lead role is to provide supervision and expertise for end users to receive support and maintenance services within the corporate offices. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all office technology to ensure optimal corporate performance. The person will also supervise the troubleshooting of technical problems (in person, by remote tools, by telephone, or via chat) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide high quality end-user assistance where required.

The Site Operations Team will also be responsible for the management, support and maintenance of all audiovisual systems and will provide AV technology support for all onsite events, as needed. This team will be the corporate expert on AV technology and will provide meticulous and professional service in fulfilling the audiovisual needs required for high profile internal and external meetings. This position will establish and maintain AV vendor support relationships as needed to ensure a reliable audiovisual technology environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge and understanding of a broad range of desktop-based hardware and software, AV equipment, office peripherals, and networking concepts.
  • Supervise the support of all departments throughout the corporate offices to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace technical equipment, including workstations, laptops, scanners, monitors, printers, telephones, cameras, projectors, AV equipment, and other peripherals.
  • Ensure proper on-site staffing for standard office operations, special events, and VIP level support.
  • Tracks AV inventory in shared training and conference areas.
  • Organizes and prioritizes the accurate and timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Works with vendors and contractors to support and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Develop and provide end-user training and assistance where required.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future AV equipment and corporate technology needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
  • Good in-person, verbal, telephone, and written etiquette.
  • Must have own transportation and will supervise onsite services at satellite corporate office as needed.

Required Skills

      IT/Computer Science related degree or comparable experience.

      Experience in leading a team of support or IT technicians involving hardware, AV, and desktop support.

      Strong technical knowledge of workstation hardware and peripherals, AV systems, and standard office equipment.

      Ability to present technical ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.

      Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

      ITIL skills and certification are a plus.
