Job description

Site Operations Manager
Location: Bealeton, VA | On-site
Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time

A confidential employer is seeking a Site Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at a lumber yard. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage yard activity, support team performance, maintain safe and efficient workflows, and ensure customers receive accurate, timely service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day lumber yard operations, including receiving, staging, loading, and order fulfillment
  • Supervise yard staff, drivers, and operational team members to ensure productivity and accountability
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, material organization, and efficient yard flow
  • Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and leadership to support customer orders and delivery schedules
  • Monitor safety practices, equipment use, and site cleanliness
