Site Operations Manager

Lawrence, MA

Established in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is a multi-site mission-driven non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to residents throughout the Merrimack Valley. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites throughout the service area and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

GLFHC is currently seeking a Site Operations Manager. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role works closely with the Site Medical Director, Director of Nursing, Clinical Nursing Supervisor, and Patient Service Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight for assigned clinical site(s). The Site Operations Manager oversees daily administrative and operational activities to ensure smooth site operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Provides leadership and direction to non-clinical staff across assigned site(s).
โ€ข Oversees daily administrative and operational activities to ensure efficient site flow.
โ€ข Collaborates with medical and nursing leadership to ensure timely patient care delivery.
โ€ข Manages clinician and support staff scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
โ€ข Conducts performance evaluations for non-clinical staff and partners with HR on progressive discipline when necessary.
โ€ข Participates in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of site staff.
โ€ข Monitors daily practice flow and reviews clinic schedules to ensure accuracy and productivity.
โ€ข Oversees time and attendance documentation for clinical staff.
โ€ข Supports quality improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with operational and QA standards.
โ€ข Monitors site performance in relation to budget and develops strategies to address variances.
โ€ข Promotes revenue maximization and cost control through operational oversight.
โ€ข Serves as a leader in advancing Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives.
โ€ข Travels between sites as required.

QualificationsExperience

โ€ข 3โ€“5 years of experience in ambulatory healthcare setting, preferably within a health center.
โ€ข 3โ€“5 years of management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
โ€ข Strong interpersonal, leadership, and personnel management skills.
โ€ข Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
โ€ข Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
โ€ข Familiarity with the Latino community in Lawrence and commitment to underserved populations strongly preferred.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Visio preferred.

Education

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree required OR equivalent of 5 years of related work experience.
