Industrial Site Operations Manager

Seattle, WA

A global industrial equipment and service solutions company is expanding its regional footprint and seeking an Industrial Site Operations Manager to serve as the embedded operational and relationship lead for a key industrial customer.

This role blends client relationship ownership, field service coordination, operational support, and local site leadership. You will be the day-to-day face of the organization, partnering closely with the customer, internal technical teams, and service partners to support service delivery, resolve issues, and strengthen a long-term client relationship.

This is a hands-on, customer-site role best suited for someone from an industrial, equipment, field service, manufacturing, branch operations, or service-based environment.

The right person will enjoy being close to the customer, solving operational issues in real time, coordinating resources, and helping build a strong local service presence around major industrial accounts.

Industrial Site Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • ·Serve as the primary on-site representative for a major industrial customer, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s operations, equipment needs, and business objectives to proactively identify solutions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate field service activities, equipment support, maintenance needs, and operational priorities between the customer, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Partner with technical service teams, project managers, and operations personnel to ensure successful service delivery and timely resolution of issues.
  • Support equipment installations, commissioning activities, and ongoing operational needs by facilitating communication across all stakeholders.
  • Monitor service agreements, performance expectations, and key performance indicators to ensure consistent delivery and customer success.
  • Gather customer feedback, communicate insights internally, and identify opportunities to enhance services and strengthen the long-term partnership.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operational challenges, stepping in where needed to support site success and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Support regional growth initiatives by helping establish processes, relationships, and operational infrastructure that will support future expansion.

Industrial Site Operations Manager Background

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial services, equipment solutions, manufacturing, construction, facilities, operations management, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting industrial customers, managing service relationships, or acting as a primary point of contact for key accounts preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, technicians, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex operational needs.
  • Comfortable working independently in a highly visible, customer-facing role while taking ownership of day-to-day site responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
