We are seeking a Player Operations Fitness Center Managerto play an essential role in the US Open player experience.
The Role
The US Open Player Fitness Center Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Player Fitness Center during the 2026 US Open. The Manager will work closely with the wider Player Operations team to ensure a positive and efficient experience for all players utilizing the Fitness Center.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Player Fitness Center, including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, inventory control, and private room bookings schedule, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
• Supervise and provide leadership to the Fitness Center staff and work with the Staffing Coordinator to monitor schedules
• Lead the setup and teardown of the Fitness Center spaces with key decisions on daily operations.
• Ensure the safety and security of the Fitness Centre and its equipment.
• Assist players and their teams with questions or concerns regarding the Fitness Center.
• Assist players and their trainers in locating and utilizing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to all players, coaches, and staff.
• Resolve any player complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming environment within the Fitness Centre.
• Coordinate with the Manager or equipment vendor for any major equipment repairs or issues.
• Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and in proper working order.
• Maintain accurate records of all Fitness Centre equipment and supplies.
• Order and restock supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively while contributing to the daily Player Operations team meeting, and keeping the Manager up to date on operations
• Report any staffing or personnel issues to the Manager and Staffing Manager
• Other duties as assigned by senior player operations staff

Who You Are
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Experience leading and managing staff
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Google Suite).
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
