Job description

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Cranberry Twp, PA
Job Duties:
Provide technical support to customers including initial problem assessment, diagnosis, troubleshooting, customer service and resolution in the industrial automation field.
- Technical service & support by phone or customer site
- Detailed documentation of customer issues.
- Expand technical service department
- Representative and internal staff training.
- Amount of travel: Approx. 25%. Mostly air travel, plus occasional international travel
- In-house and on-site training of customers
Required skills:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical / electrical field
- Able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Strong customer service skills
- 2-4 years experience within a technical support role, diagnosing and resolving technical problems in the industrial automation field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical & technical skills
- Flexible and supportive approach to team work
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PLC & CNC programming
