Job description

Talent Acquisition Manager - GG Homes | San Diego, CA
Are you the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately starts figuring out who the right people are - and how to get them to say yes? Do you thrive when you're running five things at once, building something from scratch, and influencing outcomes at every level of an organization?
GG Homes is looking for a high-impact Talent Acquisition Manager to own our hiring engine across a fast-growing portfolio of companies. This isn't a post-and-pray recruiter role. This is a seat at the table - a position where you'll partner directly with our C-suite, shape our organizational culture, and build the teams that drive everything we do.
If you're driven by results, energized by people, and motivated to leave your mark on a company that's scaling fast, let's talk.
Who We Are
GG Homes is a fast-growing real estate development and acquisitions company operating across Southern California. We identify, acquire, and develop residential properties at scale - and we've built a team of industry leaders who take both their work and their wins seriously.
This role supports hiring across GG Homes and our full portfolio of subsidiary companies, including PPC Force, DM Force, TV Force, Wander Rental, and more. You won't be working within a box. You'll be building across an ecosystem.
And when we win, we celebrate. Trips to Cabo, sunset yacht dinners, sushi omakase, Padres games, Din Tai Fung - we make sure success feels as good as it looks.
The Role: Talent Acquisition Manager
This is a recruiting-first, people-forward role with real influence over how GG Homes and its companies grow. You'll be a strategic partner to leadership, a skilled negotiator in the offer room, and the driving force behind a candidate experience that consistently attracts top-tier talent.
You're not just filling seats. You're building the foundation for everything we're becoming.
What You'll Actually Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for GG Homes and all subsidiary companies across our San Diego and Irvine offices
  • Conduct proactive outreach and talent sourcing - job fairs, industry events, direct campaigns, and creative pipeline development
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and C-suite leadership to craft compelling job postings and define what "great" looks like for every role
  • Manage candidate flow from first contact to signed offer, keeping every stakeholder in sync
  • Administer and analyze talent assessments - and translate those insights into actionable coaching for the management team
  • Lead and own the full interview process, from structure and calibration to offer negotiation and close
  • Drive onboarding and early-stage training support to set new hires up for long-term success
  • Manage and maintain our recruiting CRM with precision, keeping pipelines clean and reporting sharp
  • Track quarterly KPIs and continuously optimize for quality, speed, and conversion
  • Be the face of GG Homes talent - at events, in conversations, and across every touchpoint with prospective candidates

Who You Are
You're someone who reads people quickly, builds trust fast, and doesn't take no as a final answer. You're competitive without being cutthroat, and you know that the best talent acquisition professionals win through relationships, not just process.
You're comfortable owning your work independently, making calls with conviction, and presenting your ideas to leadership. You see a challenge as an invitation - and you're energized, not overwhelmed, when priorities shift and volume spikes.
Experience & Skills
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing top-tier candidates across a variety of roles
  • Skilled negotiator - you can hold a number, navigate objections, and still leave candidates excited to sign
  • Strong communicator who can build rapport with everyone from hourly candidates to C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience administering and interpreting talent assessments (PI, DISC, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and competing priorities simultaneously without losing precision
  • CRM and ATS proficiency required; experience reporting on recruiting metrics is a plus
  • Real estate, sales, or high-growth company experience is a plus - but not required

Compensation
$72,000 base + performance bonuses tied to clear quarterly KPIs - first year OTE $120,000+.
Benefits & Culture
We work hard, but we make sure it's worth it. Here's what you get when you join GG Homes:
  • Flexible PTO - we trust you to manage your time and recharge when you need to
  • Full Health Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
  • Performance Incentives - cash bonuses, team trips to Cabo, luxury dinners, and recognition for results
  • Team Experiences - sunset yacht dinners, Padres games, escape rooms, deep sea fishing, sushi omakase, and more
  • Beautiful Office Space - newly renovated San Diego headquarters with catered lunches, cold brew on tap, and premium snacks
  • Homebuyers Program - we'll help you buy your own property
  • Professional Development - we invest in your ongoing growth and education
  • Mentorship from Industry Leaders - direct access to experienced development, acquisitions, and operations professionals
  • Clear Path to Advancement - strong performers have real opportunities to grow into senior talent and leadership roles
  • Supportive, Driven Team Environment - work with people who celebrate each other's wins and push each other to be better

How to Apply
Submit your resume to get started. As part of our recruiting process, all candidates will be asked to complete a brief behavioral assessment - this helps us build a team where everyone is set up to do their best work from day one.
GG Homes is an equal opportunity employer. We hire based on talent, character, and drive.
