What Is the Role of a Strategist in an Organization?

While a strategist can work in a number of industries with varying roles, generally this position improves organization, handles goal-setting, and conducts the planning required to achieve those goals. Working in this position, you develop strategic plans based on research and data you’ve gathered. Many positions require you to examine a business first to understand their goals and how to achieve these goals more efficiently.
