Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally.
About the Team
Fanatics TCG is a new Seattle-based trading card game studio within the Fanatics Collectibles family, founded by industry veterans with a long-term mandate: to build enduring franchises that live across tabletop, digital, community, and culture. We're looking for the most skilled and passionate talent in the games industry and beyond to help us create the best trading card games in the world.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a Business Strategist to bring analytical rigor to how Fanatics TCG makes key product and commercial decisions. This is an individual contributor role for someone coming out of management consulting, user research, or a similar analytically demanding environment - someone who is equally at home building a bottoms-up financial model and presenting a clear recommendation to senior leadership. You'll work directly with studio leadership and cross-functional partners to size opportunities, pressure-test assumptions, and turn complex data into decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Build the financial and analytical models that underpin portfolio strategy, release planning, and investment prioritization, including business case development, scenario modeling, and forecast analysis
  • Size and evaluate new product opportunities, sales formats, and business models, synthesizing market data, player behavior, and competitive intelligence into structured go/no-go recommendations
  • Develop and maintain frameworks for tracking portfolio health, product performance, and commercial outcomes across the TCG business
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs - player research, retailer data, market trends - into clear, concise materials for senior leadership decision-making
  • Partner with game design, product, and commercial teams to ensure strategic analysis is grounded in operational reality and translates into actionable plans
Qualifications & Experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy
  • Exceptional financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills - able to build complex models from scratch and defend every assumption
  • Strong structured thinking: you break ambiguous problems into clear frameworks and know how to get to a recommendation with incomplete information
  • Polished written and verbal communicator; experienced distilling complex analysis into crisp executive-ready materials
  • Highly self-directed - comfortable owning a workstream independently without heavy oversight
  • Genuine curiosity about or experience in trading card games, collectibles, gaming, or fan-driven consumer categories is a plus
Location
All employees of Fanatics TCG are expected to be onsite in our Seattle office five days per week.
Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don't fall victim to fraud. Fanatics never seeks payment from job applicants. Feel free to ask your recruiter for a phone call or other type of communication for interview, and ensure your communication is coming from a Fanatics email address (including @collectfanatics.com). For added security, where possible, apply through our company website at www.fanaticsinc.com/careers
The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. This salary range is specific to Seattle and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
