Marketing Strategist


The Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans. The strategist completes extensive research to identify new marketing opportunities and works with the creative team to develop innovative concepts to promote brand awareness. Utilizing marketing tactics, the strategist promotes the college and its affiliates to attract and retain the right audience. Periodically throughout the marketing plan, the Marketing Strategist will analyze the results of those tactics and make strategic adjustments as needed.


Research
Has a solid understanding of market trends and takes time to perform in-depth research. Researches the best way to promote the brand positioning and narrative while targeting the proper audience.

Develop/Analyze
Assist with developing creative briefs for the creative team. Develop strategies for the best way to promote the client's company based on research and current marketing trends. Initiate ad flights through various ad platforms. Analyze flight result data and make adjustments to the tactics and strategy to accomplish the desired results. Provide Google Analytics reports to the Advertising Account Manager for client updates.

Collaboration
Work in a team environment to develop marketing strategy and tactic plans. Work with the Advertising creative team to develop innovative ideas for use with marketing tactics to increase the client company's brand awareness.

Communication
Communicate on an as needed basis with the client to make needed strategy or tactic adjustments to current marketing flights. Provide recommendations to the client and account manager for future marketing flights.
