Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly technical Test Developer to architect and build scalable manufacturing test platforms supporting CPU & GPU server-level products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

This is not a test execution or validation role. This is a software platform engineering and systems architecture role focused on backend systems, orchestration, observability, scalability, and manufacturing integration.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing scalable software systems within manufacturing or industrial environments and will help establish the software foundation for future manufacturing test systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable test execution frameworks
  • Build orchestration and coordination systems across manufacturing stations
  • Architect data pipelines for telemetry, logs, traceability, and analytics
  • Define APIs and integrations with MES/SFC and factory automation systems
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system bottlenecks and scalability issues
  • Implement fault-tolerant and observable systems
  • Establish software development standards and CI/CD practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, automation, infrastructure, and engineering teams
  • Drive standardization across manufacturing software platforms
  • Support scalable and high-throughput manufacturing environments


Required Qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of software engineering or platform engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with backend or distributed systems architecture
  • Experience with UI/frontend development
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and/or LabVIEW
  • Experience designing scalable systems focused on performance and concurrency
  • Strong API design and systems integration experience
  • Experience with telemetry, observability, and data pipelines
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and systems
  • Experience integrating with MES / SFC systems


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server, hardware, or datacenter platforms
  • Experience with TestStand or similar test executive systems
  • Real-time systems and telemetry experience
  • Full-stack software development experience
  • Experience supporting NPI to HVM manufacturing environments
