Overview of Job Function: 
Verint is currently seeking a talented and energetic individual as a Business Development representative to play a key role on our Americas team.  
 

As a Sr. Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for uncovering and expanding top of funnel pipeline activity through contact with customers and prospects. This role plays an important part in representing our brand and solutions with direct impact on growth. You will manage your pipeline through target development, campaign follow-up, new opportunity generation, contact influence expansion, personalized and creative outreach, and hand-offs to sales after qualification. This role works cross-functionally and coordinates with sales, go-to-market and throughout the marketing organization. 

For a Sr. Business Development Representative, we're looking for a collaborative, ambitious self-starter who has a passion for exceeding results and taking on a leadership role.  This can include projects, events, or various roles within the team.   

Responsibilities
    Build healthy pipeline through outbound channels including telephone, social, and email as well as qualify inbound leads resulting from demand generation programs, web inquiries, referrals, and events.
    Discover the customers'/prospects' business initiatives and develop strategies to maximize selling opportunities.
    Account mapping and contact acquisition to ensure we know the right stakeholders.
    Handover qualified leads to our Account Executives.
    Build sales cadences and nurture flows for targets throughout the buying process.
    Maintain a thorough knowledge of Verint products and technology, as well as industry trends.
    Speak to value of Verint solutions and build credibility and trust with prospects/customers as well as internal and external partners.
    Successfully leverage tools such as Outreach.io, ZoomOS, LinkedIn and more and provide routine updates to Salesforce.com with account activity and status.

Experience and skills
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
    minimum 3+   years of experience in a business development or sales role. 
    Ability to articulate business value aligned to a prospect's critical business issues.
    Driven and motivated individual that is willing to put in the effort to become successful.
    The desire to become an expert within the field.
    Excellent communicator, comfortable speaking with to senior stakeholders.
    Can-do attitude and a problem solver.
    Curious by nature and willing to learn new things.
    Experience with Salesforce and Outreach.io is a plus.
    B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required.
    Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification
