Job description

SaaS Associate Business Development Representative at Property Meld

Help introduce Property Meld to the people who need us most! Property Meld is transforming how property management companies handle maintenance through our Intelligent Maintenance platform. As a Business Development Associate / Representative, you will create the first conversations that help prospects recognize there is a better way.

Why this role matters

Maintenance is one of the biggest operational challenges in property management. When work orders are slow, communication is unclear, or teams are buried in manual follow-up, residents, owners, vendors, and property managers all feel the impact. Your work helps open the door to a better maintenance experience.

About the job and the work

In this role, you will drive outbound outreach through calls, email, and social channels; identify property management companies experiencing maintenance pain; run high-level discovery; and schedule qualified demos for our sales team. You will manage lead communication in the CRM, build a strong prospecting rhythm, learn the property management industry, and contribute directly to team pipeline and revenue goals.

This is a high-energy role for someone who is motivated by goals, resilient through rejection, curious about people's problems, and excited to grow in a sales career. No prior sales experience is required - we will teach the methodology, tools, and industry knowledge needed to be successful.

Our culture

At Property Meld, we care deeply about how we work together and how we show up for customers, teammates, and prospects. Our core values guide the way we sell: Humility keeps us coachable and curious, Loyalty reminds us to follow through and act in the best interest of the team and customer, Integrity means we earn trust by being honest and doing what we say we will do, and Agility helps us adapt quickly, learn from feedback, and keep improving. We win as a team and expect every Meldster to contribute to a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.

About you

You bring strong communication skills, high energy, persistence, and a desire to improve every day. You are comfortable making outbound calls, asking thoughtful questions, hearing "no," and trying again with a better approach. You can stay organized, manage follow-up, and use feedback and performance data to sharpen your work.

Pay, benefits, and logistics

This is a full-time, on-site role at Property Meld HQ reporting to the Manager of Business Development. Starting base salary is $43,900. Average yearly gross with base, commission, and bonus is $85,000.00 with the highest performers earning $100,500.00.

  • 401K
  • Competitive compensation structure
  • PTO
