Scope of Role

The Senior Business Development Representative for Financial Services generates new qualified sales opportunities within designated target accounts across the financial services value stream at ITRS. You will focus on proactive daily outbound prospecting through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns to secure discovery call meetings with relevant prospective clients. The BDR works cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams and reports directly to the Global BDR Manager.

We will offer you a hybrid work schedule from our New York office paying a salary range of 65,000 - $75,000 per year.

As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will:
  • Execute outbound prospecting efforts across phone, LinkedIn, and email channels to engage prospective clients within assigned target accounts
  • Identify, research, and prioritize key decision-makers and stakeholders in financial services organizations
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and introductory meetings for Account Managers-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within Salesforce and Apollo platforms
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and support broader sales plays
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within financial services and technology

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leader in respective region to align on account strategy and opportunity development
  • Work with marketing to support campaign execution, follow-ups, and lead nurturing initiatives
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market insights

Requirements

  • 2+ years BDR experience in FinTech, SaaS, or software sales.
  • Bachelor's degree required (business or finance preferred).
  • Proficient cold-calling ability and outbound prospecting skills.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo (sequencing, research, outreach).
  • Familiarity in CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Financial services background preferred (banking, lending, wealth, insurance, or capital markets).
  • Experience communicating financial and technical concepts to senior decision makers.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or Challenger sales methodology is a plus.
