A customer service agent works with customers in person, over the phone, and online, answering questions and resolving issues. Some employers require soft selling skills for this position. Product representatives manage accounts for customers, distributors, manufacturers, and other branch offices. In this position, you must develop a thorough knowledge of a product and help resolve a variety of questions or issues, such as assisting customers with making new purchases, determining repairs and any needed replacement parts, and generating alternative solutions to complex problems.

In government, such as a legislative representative, they advocate for the needs and interests of their constituents within a governing body. Effective representatives possess strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Job description

Sterile Processing Account Specialist (Hospital-Based)
Oklahoma City, OK | Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Ready to use your SPD experience in a role that's more leadership and problem-solving - and less daily tray assembly?
We're hiring an experienced Sterile Processing professional to support one dedicated hospital account in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a hands-on, clinical role where you act as the on-site expert improving workflows, supporting teams, and keeping the OR running smoothly.
No travel. No shift work. No bouncing between facilities. Just one hospital where you can truly make an impact.
What You'll Get
  • $65,000-$75,000 base salary (based on experience)
  • Monday-Friday schedule (hours aligned with the facility approximately 2:00PM-10:30PM CST)
  • No weekends, no holidays, no travel required
  • Stable, full-time hospital-based role
  • Clear pathway into the medical device industry

What You'll Do
  • Partner daily with SPD and OR leadership
  • Ensure tray readiness and case support
  • Audit trays, instrumentation, and workflows
  • Identify and fix inefficiencies before they impact cases
  • Lead hands-on training and in-services
  • Support process improvements and standardization initiatives
  • Serve as the hospital's go-to sterile processing expert

This is not a traditional tech role - you'll spend less time assembling trays and more time improving systems, training teams, and solving problems.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in Sterile Processing, Central Services, OR, or surgical services
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and tray workflows
  • Comfortable working directly in SPD/OR environments
  • CRCST, CBSPD, or CST preferred

Great fit for:
Senior Techs • Leads • Supervisors • Educators • Managers • OR Liaisons • Clinical Specialists
If you're ready to step into a role with more ownership, visibility, and long-term growth, we'd love to connect. Apply today.
