If you’ve recruited and trained carpet cleaners, janitorial technicians, restoration crews, or similar home-service field teams before, this is your opportunity to work remotely while directly impacting service quality and helping us scale fast.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor your team of technicians and the projects they are working on
  • Arrange technician training programs, mentorship, and guidance
  • Assess the company’s equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Communicate with senior management, customers, and technicians
  • Proactively source and recruit experienced carpet cleaning technicians, full crews, and small cleaning businesses as independent subcontractors.
  • Create and manage job postings on Indeed, Facebook groups, industry forums, Craigslist, and other platforms.
  • Screen applicants: conduct interviews, verify experience/certifications (e.g., IICRC), check references, insurance, and background.
  • Onboard new subcontractors: contracts, quality standards, scheduling tools, customer service protocols, and compliance.
  • Develop and deliver (or coordinate) training on our cleaning methods, safety procedures, equipment use, and customer expectations.
  • Build long-term relationships with subcontractors for retention, availability, and high performance.
  • Track recruiting metrics, maintain a strong talent pipeline, and collaborate with operations to match subs with jobs.

Qualifications:
  • One year of previous experience as a technician supervisor manager required
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • We require applicant have 1-3 years of technician experience in related field

What We’re Looking For (Ideal Candidate)

  • 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with a hands-on background in carpet cleaning, janitorial, restoration, or home services strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience recruiting and training carpet cleaners or similar technicians – this is a big plus!
  • Knowledge of subcontractors, independent contractor networks, and gig/trades personnel in cleaning or field services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills (you’ll be making outbound calls and overcoming objections).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working fully remote with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with job boards, Google Workspace, and basic recruiting tools (ATS/CRM experience a plus).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment, techniques, or IICRC standards.
