Job description

The Associate Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent for multiple locations across the organization. This role focuses on high-volume recruiting for skilled trades and support positions while partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance.
Recruit for skilled trades positions including diesel technicians, service advisors, parts professionals, and other operational roles.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, trade schools, and community partnerships.
Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and hiring activities.
Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Represent the company at career fairs, trade schools, military recruiting events, and networking functions.
Assist with employer branding initiatives and recruiting marketing campaigns.
Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring activity.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies.
Travel approximately 20% to support recruiting events, hiring initiatives, training, and business needs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience within a staffing or recruiting agency environment.
Demonstrated experience managing high-volume recruiting, handling multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
Experience recruiting for skilled trades such as diesel technicians, mechanics, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, construction, or similar blue-collar positions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Requires good verbal and written skills. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Bilingual is very helpful.
