Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a HRIS Analyst to join our team and add value in the following areas:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize UKG Pro to support organizational needs.
  • Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, security roles, organizational structures, job codes, locations, compensation structures, and state/local tax updates.
  • Maintain UKG landing pages for employees, managers, and administrators.
  • Configure and support Document Management, People Assist, and employee self-service functionality.
  • Configure and support annual Open Enrollment, benefit life events, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for UKG Pro and related HR technologies.
  • Research new UKG functionality and recommend enhancements that align with business priorities.
  • Participate in UKG user groups, product forums, and continuing education to stay informed on system capabilities and industry best practices. Review UKG release notes and assess potential business impacts.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, compliance, and overall system integrity.
  • Identify data discrepancies and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues proactively.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics that support business decision-making. Ensure reporting processes are accurate, repeatable, and audit-ready.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues independently or in partnership with UKG Support.
  • Track recurring issues, identify root causes, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation activities for system upgrades and enhancements while minimizing business disruption.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot middleware, APIs, file feeds, and integrations supporting HR and payroll processes.
  • Support integrations with platforms including:
    • Identity and Access Management (Okta)
    • Active Directory
    • Timekeeping hardware
    • Employee recognition platforms (Nectar)
    • Other third-party HR technologies
  • Build strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and Talent Acquisition. Consult with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, operational challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions while maintaining system integrity and governance.
  • Provide recommendations and best practices based on UKG functionality and prior experience.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to HR systems and employee data.
  • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  • Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing during planned absences or business continuity situations.
  • Participate in audits and provide system documentation and reporting as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Other job duties assigned

Skills for Success

  • Deep system configuration and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Clear documentation and communication skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to HRIS challenges

  • Demonstrated experience configuring UKG business rules, workflows, and reporting
  • Experience supporting open enrollment, payroll-adjacent processes, and timekeeping systems
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, compliance considerations, and reporting logic
  • Proven ability to manage high ticket volume while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
  • Experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll teams

You might also have

  • Experience supporting multi-state or complex tax environments
