How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Optimize Revenue Integrity: Analyze, update, and coordinate charge master activities using clinical and coding expertise to ensure complete compliance and eliminate billing inconsistencies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with managed care, clinical staff, and internal departments to accurately capture billable items, secure reimbursement data, and resolve software edits.
  • Process Improvement & Auditing: Lead strategic revenue cycle projects and audits to streamline billing efficiency, maximize collection efforts, and improve overall workflows.
  • Strategic Staff Education: Educate case management and departmental teams on complex payer updates, policy changes, and denial or appeal management processes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Must be located in the Central Austin Area
  • Surgical and medical billing experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office is a plus
