Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Drive the Financial Strategy Behind a Major Cloud Transformation

We're looking for a Senior FinOps Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale cloud modernization initiative. This position sits at the intersection of cloud technology, financial planning, and business strategy, helping guide how cloud investments are forecasted, managed, and optimized across a complex enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a FinOps Analyst, you'll help organizations make smarter financial decisions around cloud adoption and infrastructure investments by:

  • Building and maintaining cloud spend forecasts and budgeting models
  • Analyzing cloud consumption trends and translating usage data into financial insights
  • Monitoring actual spend versus forecast and identifying risks, trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and finance teams to understand cost drivers
  • Supporting cloud governance initiatives and financial management best practices
  • Developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations

  • 3+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, or related disciplines
  • Experience managing cloud-related budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, or financial reporting
  • Understanding of cloud consumption-based pricing models across AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to understand infrastructure utilization and cost impacts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
    • Financial modeling
    • Pivot tables
    • Data analysis
    • Reporting and dashboards
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cloud migration or cloud transformation initiatives
