Job description

Role-Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to drive business process transformation, solution design, platform enhancements, and enterprise integrations across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, HubSpot, NetSuite, Docusign, Conga, SharePoint, xFilesPro, AWS, and related business systems. This role serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while supporting customer lifecycle, quote-to-cash, proposal management, customer portal, and data integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead workshops with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to identify process improvements and solution opportunities.
  • Support and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Activities, Forecasting, Contracts, and Pipeline Management.
  • Support and enhance Salesforce Experience Cloud customer and partner portals, including customer self-service and external user experiences.
  • Analyze and optimize quote-to-cash, proposal management, approval workflows, contract management, and document generation processes.
  • Define requirements and support integrations between Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, Docusign, Conga, xFilesPro, SharePoint, AWS, and other enterprise applications.
  • Create business process diagrams, workflow maps, data flow diagrams, wireframes, solution designs, and integration specifications using Visio, Lucid chart, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with developers on custom solutions, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), and validate technical solutions against business requirements.
  • Perform data analysis and develop Salesforce reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level analytics to support decision-making.
  • Support SIT, UAT, release validation, defect triage, production support, and vendor case management.
  • Coordinate support activities with Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign, and other vendors when required.
  • Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, training materials, and functional documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Salesforce Consultant.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Experience supporting HubSpot CRM/Marketing Hub and Salesforce-HubSpot integrations.
  • Experience supporting NetSuite ERP integrations and quote-to-cash business processes.
  • Understanding of Salesforce automation, security, reporting, dashboards, APIs, and integration best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning architecture.
  • Strong business analysis, solution design, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, solution documentation, and data mapping specifications.
  • Experience supporting business processes within waste management, environmental services, recycling, industrial services, logistics, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Understanding of commercial business processes including customer onboarding, pricing, contracts, service agreements, approvals, customer portals, billing integrations, and customer lifecycle management.
