Now Hiring: HR Recruiter/Coordinator Full-Time Westchester County, NY

What You'll Do:
โ€ข Recruitment Support: Work with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including posting internal and external job openings.
โ€ข Job Board Management: Post positions on various job boards such as Indeed, Better team and our Paycom ATS.
โ€ข Campus Recruiting: Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to support recruitment efforts.
โ€ข Job Fairs: Attend job fairs to source active candidates and represent IAHD as well as walk in interviews held at IAHD.
โ€ข Screening & Coordination: Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
โ€ข New Hire Coordination: Schedule candidates for new hire paperwork, background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
โ€ข Research Recruiting Sources: Continuously explore and recommend new recruitment sources for active and passive candidates.
โ€ข Onboarding Administration: Maintain and complete new hire application packets, ensuring all forms are filled out and returned on time, including drug testing, fingerprinting, and other mandatory documents.
โ€ข Communication: Follow up with new hires and managers to ensure paperwork is complete and employees are cleared to begin work.
โ€ข New Hire Maintenance: Create timesheets, submit to payroll, and ensure new hire information is entered into HRIS systems.
โ€ข Documentation: Create employee ID badges and maintain a photo database, scan new hire packets into the system, and track evaluations.
โ€ข Track Evaluations:Create a spreadsheet to track evaluations for each department/employee, following up with managers/directors on missing or incorrect evaluations.
โ€ข Assist with special projects and other tasks to ensure the HR department runs smoothly.
Educational Requirements
โ€ข Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Experience & Skills:
โ€ข Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources required
โ€ข Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems
โ€ข Must be willing to drive between the Bronx and Westchester County as needed
โ€ข Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
โ€ข This position is not remote
