This role is at the heart of our manufacturing operations - coordinating production schedules, aligning resources, and ensuring our customers receive their products on time. This is a day shift position reporting to the Materials Manager.WHAT YOU'LL DOYour Day-to-Day:
  • Production Schedule Development & Optimization - Develop effective and efficient press schedules using production orders to meet customer requirements while maximizing manufacturing efficiencies across machines and downstream operations
  • Material & Resource Coordination - Confirm graphics and raw materials are available to support the press schedule prior to production; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and minimize aged raw material inventory
  • Schedule Communication & Publishing - Publish and communicate production schedules to all relevant stakeholders ina timelyandaccuratemanner; coordinate daily with associates and support groups across all operational areas and shifts
  • Customer & Stakeholder Communication - Communicate regularly with Customer Delivery Associates (CDAs) to meet customer needs and manage expectations; keep management and stakeholders proactively informed of production progress, potential issues, and schedule changes
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting - Track production metrics,identifybottlenecks, and investigate orders produced short or over todetermineroot causes; create reports, schedules, and production plans using Excel and PRISM
  • Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement - Identify and resolve issues related to production delays, material shortages, and other operational challenges; implement changes tooptimizescheduling efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall plant performance

WHAT YOU'LL NEEDRequirements:
  • Age: Must be 18+ years old
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing scheduling or production planning role is preferred
  • Assessments: Must pass drug screening and background check
  • Internal candidates mustdemonstratebehaviors consistent with our Core Values and be in good performance standing with no disciplinary issues

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment whenrequired, including exposure to noise, temperature variation, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Capability tolift upto 25 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity to read computer screens, reports, and documentation
  • Manual dexterity tooperatecomputer equipment and perform efficient data entry
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate multi-level facilities

  • Manufacturing Knowledge - Understanding of flexible packaging manufacturing processes, including lamination, printing, and slitting operations, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production challenges
  • Material & Resource Coordination - Knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure resource availability and meet production targets
  • Technical Proficiency - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PRISM software, with the ability to work effectively within scheduling database systems
  • Advanced Excel Skills - Preferredproficiencyin advanced Excel features, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, advanced IF functions (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, AVERAGEIFS), and data visualization tools
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production data, track performance metrics, and generate actionable insights and reports
