This is a 1st shift position.
Compensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is between $53k - 65k Annual, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule all manufacturing departments to ensure that castings are made in accordance with customer requests.
  • Perform timely and accurate entry of daily production data.
  • Communicate with outside vendors and other departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.
  • Assemble daily production schedules for core, cleaning, shipping, and molding departments, coordinating all factors to maximize production capability.
  • Maintain constant contact with supervisors of production departments anticipating and resolving any production bottlenecks to ensure smooth and efficient flow of work.
  • Report unresolved problems to supervisor.
  • Coordinate the production of all samples and controlled production runs on a timely basis.
  • Compile backlog information and other data from master schedules for use in planning as required.
  • Maintain contact with shipping department to instruct Shipping Specialist of daily production.
  • Communicate with customers on their weekly requirements and inform them (daily if necessary) on any potential problems with missed shipments or problems with them getting their material on a timely basis.
  • Personal attendance record should remain in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
