A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Production Scheduler leads assigned Plant production and outfitting scheduling process to meet customer (builder) needs. The position reports to the Plant Manager, and closely coordinates with Order Management, Production and Shipping teams to manage customer needs. The position will manage inventory and stocking levels and prepare forecasts for material purchasing needs.
Some of What You Will Do:
  • Run and upload previous day's orders.
  • Run and upload query MPN stock
  • Assign work order to part numbers
  • Assign work orders and reconcile custom products
  • Release work orders
  • Manage future planning for stock items on the production schedule
  • Validate demand with internal team prior to scheduling
  • Develop and coordinate weekly/monthly production schedules in order to support customer requirements
  • Generate serial numbers and bar codes for production based off schedule
  • Develop and coordinate weekly/monthly outfitting schedules in order to support customer requirements
  • Manage site stocking plan
  • Review and coordinate inventory control processes and procedures with operations group to ensure system inventory accuracy. This would include comprehensive cycle count procedure.
  • Confer with appropriate employees to provide and coordinate critical information to support on-time delivery of customer requirements
  • Chair weekly scheduling meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years' experience in ERP systems or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to make timely decisions while including appropriate people in decision-making process
  • Adapt to change in the work environment by dealing with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary, including weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
