Responsibilities
The Production Scheduler is a key contributor to the efficient operation of the manufacturing process by creating and maintaining daily production schedules that align with customer delivery requirements. This role is responsible for running and analyzing SAP reports, addressing system-generated action messages, resolving planning and material issues, and adjusting supply orders as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures optimal use of materials, labor, and equipment while supporting on-time delivery performance.

  • Execute and interpret SAP reports to identify material requirements and determine specific items that need to be ordered.
  • Track due dates and monitor supplier and production performance to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Review and process modifications to customer orders, including additions, deletions, and changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production capabilities.
  • Develop and issue daily production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Effectively communicate and present information in group settings, including production meetings and cross-functional team discussions.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing excess.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4+ years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry preferred.
