About the Position:
Product Support Representatives (PSRs) are key players in maintaining customer relationships, managing service expectations, and identifying growth opportunities. The PSR position involves working closely with customers, managers, parts personnel, sales teams, technicians, and rental departments to ensure that all service requirements are met, and that customer satisfaction is maintained. You will sell MLEC products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within your assigned territory. This position requires a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products and marketing techniques. Responsible for securing an assigned amount of profitable business for the company through proper planning, adequate territorial coverage, effective sales presentations and thorough administration.
*** THIS IS A SALES BASED POSITION AND WILL EARN A FIRST YEAR GUARANTEE OF $85,000. THIS POSITION ALSO QUALIFIES FOR COMMISSION AND HAS EARNING POTENTIAL TO EXCEED THE BASE GUARANTEE***
Some of Your Duties:

  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service to all customers; Actively seek out and promote services to new and existing customers.
  • Service Quoting & Communication: Provide quotes for repairs, communicate job completion timelines, and maintain visibility on work-in-progress.
  • Additional Sales: Identify opportunities for additional repairs and services.
  • Territory Development: Build and expand a designated territory with company-provided vehicle and fuel resources.
  • Utilize Promotions: Leverage manufacturer programs (e.g., Care Inspections, Rebuilds, Winter Specials, Smart Accounts) to grow your customer base.
  • Use CRM to assist in growing sales.
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Work as a cooperative team member with all personnel of MLEC in order to provide excellent service to all customers.
Additional Duties
  • Ensuring that each customer has current credit application.
  • Assisting accounting with collecting on accounts receivables.
  • Obtain customer purchase orders and acquiring necessary customer signatures.
  • Other duties as assigned
What Will Make You Considered 'Best Qualified:
  • High school diploma; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Construction industry/heavy equipment experience preferred
  • 3 or more years' experience in inventory management
  • Experience with customer relationship management software (CRM) preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, to include Word and Excel
Physical Demands & Competencies
This position requires that you possess the following competencies:
  • Sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead and the ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical/pre-employment background check/ drug screen and obtain a DOT Medical Certification as needed.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of McClung-Logan Equipment Company.
  • Be comfortable working near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate PPE gear must be worn as required.
