Sunham Home Inc. (a Cathay Home Inc. Company) is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Associate to manage our supply chain operations and ensure the seamless distribution of soft home goods to major retailers. This role acts as the critical bridge between our overseas production offices, internal sales teams, and retail buyers. The ideal candidate will track international shipments, manage inventory and orders, and directly support sales forecasting to ensure business targets are met.

Responsibilities
Shipment Tracking & Logistics Management
•Monitor international shipments daily to ensure on-time departure and delivery.
•Coordinate closely with overseas offices to manage production and shipping handovers.
•Track transit statuses proactively and maintain an updated logistics pipeline.
•Report shipping delays to the sales team immediately to adjust Purchase Order Export (POE) and Direct (DIR) ship windows.
•Partner with the Sales Manager to ensure all product arrivals align with strict retail compliance windows.
•Provide daily, accurate shipment arrival updates to retail buyers’ assistants.
•Partner with the Sales Manager to review monthly revenue numbers and demand forecasting.
•Actively track monthly invoicing to ensure department sales goals are met.
•Organize, schedule, and prepare materials for internal and external sales meetings.
•Enter manual sales orders into the system with high accuracy.
•Verify pricing, terms, and item details on all incoming sales orders.
•Prepare comprehensive product specification sheets according to specific retailer guidelines.
•Manage the inbound and outbound sample inventory for client presentations and quality control.
Qualifications and Skills
•3-5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in consumer goods or textiles.
•Proven experience working with overseas vendors and understanding international shipping terms.
•Strong proficiency in data entry, order management systems (ERP), and Microsoft Excel.
•Exceptional communication skills for daily interaction with sales managers, overseas teams, and retail buyers.
•High organizational skills to manage multiple retail accounts and moving timelines simultaneously.
Location: NY Office and NJ Warehouse
Work Schedule Structure: 5-day work week. Hybrid two (2) days at the Midtown, New York office, two (2) days at the New Jersey warehouse in New Providence NJ. One (1) day work-from-home. Schedule adjustments and additional travel may be required based on business urgency and external customer meetings.
