Position Summary
The Materials & Procurement Associate supports Titan Circuits’ PCB assembly manufacturing operations by assisting with receiving, stockroom control, warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, purchasing execution, supplier follow-up and shipping activities. This role helps ensure materials, components, documentation, kits, and finished goods move accurately and on time through the business to support production schedules, customer delivery, and AS9100-driven quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory and stockroom transactions, put away materials in correct locations, support kitting/dekitting, cycle counts, inventory audits, and internal material movement.
- Prepare and support customer shipments, including packaging, labeling, shipment documentation, finished-goods staging, carrier coordination, and handoff activities.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, missing certifications, inventory errors, supplier issues, or documentation concerns to Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, or Management in a timely manner.
- Maintain clean, organized, ESD/FOD-compliant, and audit-ready Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Stockroom areas while following all company procedures and safety requirements.
- Support purchasing and procurement activities including RFQs, purchase order entry, supplier acknowledgments, order confirmations, lead-time updates, PO changes, and follow-up on late or critical materials.
- Monitor material needs, shortages, open purchase orders, supplier updates, inventory status, and production priorities to help prevent SMT, assembly, and shipping delays.
- Receive, unpack, verify, and process incoming materials, components, PCBs, hardware, supplies, and documentation against purchase orders, packing slips, labels, and certification requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience in purchasing support, procurement, stockroom, shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or material handling in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, aerospace/defense, or high-mix manufacturing preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ERP/MRP experience preferred; CETEC experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to identify electronic components, read labels/packing slips, and follow documentation, traceability, ESD, FOD, and quality-system requirements.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Physical / Compliance Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, move throughout the warehouse and production floor, and occasionally lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds. Must follow safety, ESD, FOD, security, attendance, documentation, and company policy requirements. Must pass background check, E-Verify, and meet ITAR requirements.
