Associate General Counsel - Commercial Contracting

Job Summary:

As the Associate General Counsel, we are looking for a senior lawyer that has significant commercial contracting experience with drafting and negotiating both procurement contracts and supply agreements, including Master Service Agreements and Volume Contract Commitments.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate supply agreements and procurement contracts
  • Plan and implement internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with sales and procurement
  • Lead a team of 3 contracting professionals, including lawyers
  • Position may require some evening and weekend hours
  • Location is in Chandler, AZ

Qualifications:

  • JD and bar admission in good standing
  • 8+ years of legal experience
  • Strong moral and ethical principles

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations within a fast paced, public company environment
  • Experience in both law firm and in-house corporate legal environment
  • Experience and familiarity with renewable energy contracts and the Inflation Reduction Act and its requirements
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop legal strategies and objectives
