Are you passionate about sourcing products, negotiating deals, and building strong relationships with electronics suppliers?
We're looking for motivated professionals who are excited to make an impact as Master Electronics continues to grow and evolve. Our Buyers/ Procurement Specialists play a critical role in our success by partnering closely with suppliers and our sales team to deliver value to our customers and drive the business forward.
As a Buyer/ Procurement Specialist, you'll analyze input from sales and suppliers to make informed purchasing decisions that balance availability, cost, and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for ensuring we have the right products, at the right time, and at the best possible cost. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in procurement or supply chain who wants to directly influence gross profit and market share growth.
This position is based at our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, and is hybrid, offering the
flexibility to work from home up to two days per week after the first 90 days.
Pay range: $50,000 to $80,000 (salary plus performance-based pay), with a great potential to earn more based on exceeding performance targets

What you will do?
  • Make strategic purchasing decisions for optimal inventory, considering inputs from Sales, our system, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with suppliers for go-to-market strategies, negotiate deals, and build strong relationships
  • Provide proactive guidance and support to Sales for business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Address disruptions promptly and communicate effectively in scenarios like shipping delays, material shortages, and price increases
  • Compile and analyze reports to prioritize actions and make intelligent business decisions
  • Manage factory backlog by adapting to changing demand and supply dynamics
  • Review and distribute key information/data from suppliers to Sales and other departments

What you bring to the table!
  • One plus (1+) years of buying, procurement, or planner experience, preferably for a distribution center
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Purchasing or product management experience in the electronics industry, preferred
  • Experience in supply chain or supply chain management preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Proven attention to detail, problem-solving, quickness, and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, reliably follow through, and work well in a team
