Position Summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Procurement Manager to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves overseeing the procurement lifecycle, including vendor negotiations, acquisition strategy development, and ensuring compliance with DoD procurement policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the procurement lifecycle, including vendor negotiations and acquisition strategy development.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD procurement policies.
  • Manage contract administration, cost analysis, and supply chain logistics.
  • Perform strong negotiation and financial analysis to optimize procurement decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with DFARS and FAR processes for procurement, managing government contracts, conducting market research, and negotiating vendor agreements.
  • Experience with federal procurement regulations, cost estimation, and acquisition documentation.
  • Proficiency in contract lifecycle management and compliance audits.
  • Ability to analyze procurement strategies to ensure alignment with DoD acquisition policies and cost efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
Required Education and Experience Equivalency
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • OR 5 years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
