Job description

Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Remote
Compensation: $140K

Job Duties:
· Responsible for planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics management, and supplier quality surveillance activities on projects $30M+.
· Develop and perform upfront procurement planning activities, such as establishing purchasing and subcontract strategies.
· Identify and vet vendors for medium-to-heavy industrial electrical components and nationwide labor support.
· Maintain and leverage relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable pricing and guaranteed delivery timelines.
· Create and manage project-specific templates, reports, and tools that align with project and company objectives.
· Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to determine material and service requirements for various projects.
· Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends to ensure competitiveness.
· Maintain and manage procurement documentation and records for transparency and audit purpose.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, construction, or business management preferred, not required.
· Experience: 1–5 years in a dedicated Procurement Manager role OR 5–10 years as a Senior Purchasing Agent with significant managerial responsibilities.
o Expertise in Industrial Electrical materials and power distribution equipment
o Strong background in Contract Law and formal contract review processes.
o Experience in expediting supplier quality management and/or material management.
o Proficiency in the formation and administration of purchase orders from bidder prequalification to disputes.
o Experience in applying efficient procurement processes, structures, and analytical tools.
o Highly developed analytical and communication skills (written and verbal), combined with a structured work style and a pragmatic hands-on approach.
