Accountabilities

The Transport Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing transport sourcing activities, strengthening partner relationships, and ensuring customers receive efficient and competitive logistics solutions.

  • Handle transport requests by gathering requirements, clarifying details, and identifying suitable transportation solutions.
  • Source transport capacity from carrier partners, request quotations, negotiate pricing, and select the best options based on vehicle type, route, lead time, and service requirements.
  • Provide fast and reliable responses to customer needs by following structured processes and maintaining strong communication.
  • Calculate pricing, evaluate margins, and prepare competitive transport offers for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of requests, prices, and orders within internal systems to ensure high-quality data management.
  • Monitor carrier performance, provide feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the transport partner network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers and external partners.
  • Identify recurring challenges and collaborate with the team to develop standardized processes and operational improvements.

Requirements
