Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Procurement Associate in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities:
* Support procurement operations by coordinating contract, purchase order, and supplier engagement activities
* Process procurement requests and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time
* Maintain data accuracy across procurement, vendor, and purchasing systems
* Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate procurement transactions and resolve processing issues
* Monitor contract renewals, expirations, and procurement lifecycle activities
* Track operational performance metrics and help ensure service levels are achieved
* Analyze procurement data to identify trends related to spending, suppliers, and transaction activity
* Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data tracking tools to support business decisions
* Prepare recurring procurement and vendor reporting for leadership and key stakeholders
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, reporting, and data management
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, operations, or a related field
* Experience working with procurement, purchasing, contract management, or enterprise business systems
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation
* Ability to interpret business data and communicate insights effectively
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
