JOB SUMMARY
The Business Process Mapping Engineer supports transition to a Digital Enterprise by modeling and linking business processes across multiple departments. This role requires strong engineering knowledge, analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement. The engineer collaborates with stakeholders to assess, design, and implement efficient processes that align with business objectives, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Map business processes across engineering, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain departments.
• Create process maps and flowcharts to visualize activities, roles, responsibilities, data, and tool usage.
• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to gather process information and requirements.
• Assess existing processes to identify waste, redundancy, or inefficiencies.
• Design efficient and effective business processes that meet organizational needs.
• Assist in deploying process changes, including communication, training, and feedback collection.
• Train and guide staff on new processes and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of new processes and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain process models in a configuration control environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert in digitalizing business processes into an enterprise-wide integrated state.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with business process mapping and modeling.
• Knowledge of business process management principles and best practices.
• Experience identifying process gaps and recommending optimizations.
• Proven ability to map processes to roles, responsibilities, tools, and data flow.
• Experience using digitalization mapping tools such as Prime BPM.
• Experience leading Kaizen events.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of technical requirements and systems relevant to combat vehicles.
• Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting.
• 1+ years of Scrum/Agile management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering and/or manufacturing environments.
• Project management experience.
