Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pricing Analyst to join our Deal Desk team at DMG. This role requires a strong proficiency in Excel and a keen ability to manage and meet strict deadlines, particularly in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The successful candidate will be adept at program managing and facilitating strategy across various teams including field teams, sales teams, sales leadership, and implementation teams. This position demands a high level of expertise in cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data, and the ability to craft compelling narratives from this data to inform decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple RFPs and ad hoc analyses simultaneously.

What You'll Do:

  • RFP Management and Response: Efficiently manage and respond to RFPs, ensuring all deadlines are met with accurate and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Data Analysis and Storytelling: Clean, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. Develop insightful narratives and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with field teams, sales teams, sales leadership, and implementation teams to develop and align pricing strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies and models that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.
  • Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes at various organizational levels.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends to inform pricing strategies and competitive positioning.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports on pricing analytics and market trends, and effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually seek ways to improve processes and practices related to pricing and data analysis.
  • What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of pricing, sales, or analytics related fields.
  • Power BI, SQL, or CPQ experience is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
