The Pricing Analyst supports pricing and commercial analytics initiatives across Flow Control Group's portfolio of brands. This role is primarily focused on pricing execution, pricing analysis, and reporting, while also providing analytical support across broader Revenue Growth & Strategy priorities including business case development, customer and supplier analysis, commercial reporting, and data quality initiatives.
Because RGS operates as a central enablement function, this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple parts of the business while building a strong foundation in pricing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, maintenance, and execution of price lists, pricing files, and pricing-related analyses across the company's brand portfolio.
  • Assist in implementing and improving value-based pricing strategies for existing and new products.
  • Perform pricing, margin, discount, and customer analysis to identify opportunities across products, suppliers, brands, and market segments.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc pricing reports for brand leaders, operating groups, and sales leadership.
  • Help monitor pricing performance against goals and provide analysis on key drivers of results.
  • Support discount and pricing reporting for sales managers and commercial leaders.
  • Build, maintain, and validate reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and internal systems.
  • Assist with business case modeling, customer and supplier analysis, and other ad hoc analytical projects that support commercial decision-making.
  • Contribute to data cleanup, classification, and hierarchy work that improves pricing visibility and reporting quality across brands.
  • Support pricing and reporting needs across internal systems and tools as needed.
  • Partner with pricing leadership, brand teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support ongoing RGS priorities and business initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, business intelligence, sales operations, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through large datasets and summarize findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Excel required; exposure to SQL and Power BI strongly preferred.
  • Ability to clean, transform, and validate data across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and a willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or early-career experience in pricing, analytics, finance, business intelligence, sales operations, or consulting.
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems such as; P21, SAP, Business Central, and/or NetSuite.
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL, and data warehouse/reporting tools.
  • Partner with company general managers (brand leaders), operating group leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to support pricing initiatives and broader RGS priorities.
  • Interest in pricing strategy, commercial analytics, and using data to improve business performance.
