Job description

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for assisting with Americas regional pricing team in both solicited and unsolicited customer requests, contract renewals, new service lines, change in scope, etc.

This is an amazing opportunity to join our fantastic Menzies Aviation team as a Junior Pricing Analyst supporting the Finance team.

We are looking for someone who has a relevant financial qualification or qualifications by experience.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare pricing models for review and presentation to Ops/Finance/Exec Team
  • Review customer RFP documents to ensure accurate pricing/responses
  • Assist management with costing and planning against customer requests
  • Review existing rates against service requirements to understand of profitability
  • Track customer price increases for materiality and timeliness
  • Travel may be required infrequently.
  • May need to work outside of normal business hours to accommodate critical deadlines, customer needs or local management in a different time zone.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant financial qualification or qualification by experience.
  • Must have strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related degrees.
  • Expertise in Excel is required and exposure to pricing models is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
  • Aviation industry experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanour within a very hectic work environment.
