Job description

The Junior Logistics Analyst will assist in gathering data for the Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) in preparing analysis for Army logistics supply and maintenance program. The Junior Logistics Analyst (JLA) shall demonstrate an understanding of Army logistics supply and maintenance programs. The JLA should demonstrate the ability to understand Department of Defense (DoD) databases and the support elements required to assist the SLA's analysis and reporting requirements. The JLA must demonstrate the knowledge of, but not limited to, the processes of requisition/materiel release order processing, receiving activities, retrograde of Army materiel, wholesale and retail operations, property management, Logistics Modernization Program, management of classified and hazardous material, packaging/special packaging instructions, Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 3 years' experience in any logistics discipline in support of the military/DoD
  • Experience with weapons systems programs, such as PATRIOT, HIMARS, AVENGER, STINGER, MLRS or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs
  • Candidates must be local or able to relocate themselves. (Relocation expenses are not covered for this position.)
