About the Role
Culmen International is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to provide support to a DHS opportunity.
What You'll Do in Your New Role
The Financial Management Analyst provides financial planning, budget formulation and execution, funding management, financial analysis, acquisition support, and technical writing services.
The analyst supports program managers, contracting personnel, and government stakeholders by monitoring financial performance, managing funding allocations, developing budgets, analyzing costs and resource requirements, and providing data-driven recommendations to support mission objectives.
This position prepares financial reports, budget analyses, and executive briefings; ensures compliance with federal financial management regulations, appropriation law, and agency policies; supports audits and financial reviews; and maintains accurate documentation to support accountability and reporting requirements.
The Financial Management Analyst also assists with acquisition-related documentation, cost estimates, and project planning activities while supporting effective resource management and strategic decision-making across critical USSS programs and operations.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience supporting federal acquisition processes, financial management, budgeting, and technical writing.
  • Demonstrated experience in federal budget formulation, execution, and funds control management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial management regulations and appropriation law.
  • Experience conducting financial analyses, audit support activities, and compliance reviews.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience supporting federal civilian, defense, or international assistance programs.
  • Experience with project controls, financial forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with facility, construction, infrastructure, or capital improvement projects.
  • Experience supporting federal audits and financial assessments.
