Essential Job Functions
With or without reasonable accommodation, the successful candidate will:
Forecasting & Planning
• Develop, maintain, and adjust item-level forecasts using historical data, market trends,
seasonality, lifecycle status, and business judgment to support production and inventory
planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on forecast
assumptions, resolve variances and drive consensus forecasts.
• Analyze forecast accuracy at the part number level and assess impacts on finished goods
inventory; recommended corrective actions as needed.
• Apply appropriate forecast types and supplemental forecasting techniques, reviews and
adjust forecasts at the individual item level on a regular basis.
New Product Introduction & Life Cycle Management
• Develop forecasts for new product introductions (NPI) and communicate launch
requirements to Operations and Planning. Evaluate post-launch forecast performance
by comparing forecast versus actual demand.
• Support product lifecycle management by identifying declining or low-usage parts.
• Maintain awareness of proprietary and unique parts and support planning strategies for
reduced usage.
Systems & Reporting
• Produce and manage regular forecasting and planning reports, including weekly and
monthly cleanup, exceptions, and variance reports.
• Monitor system flags and forecast exceptions.
• Lead and participate in recurring forecast and operational review meetings to include
Custom Head Lamp and Harness demand, providing analysis and planning insights to
ensure forecasts are aligned.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly data package.
• Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export
Control Policy established for the Corporation.
Qualifications
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of inventory analysis or supply chain experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI.
