Logistics Analyst
The Logistics Analyst is a crucial role within the organization and is responsible for successfully supporting various North American Clients. This role will involve managing day-to-day account activities and working with internal partners to meet client expectations. Logistics Analysts are expected to communicate directly with carriers, customers, vendors, and internal management to ensure a reliable high service level and resolve daily transportation-related issues.
The Logistics Analyst position will directly support the Client Relations & Business Intelligence Department with varying responsibilities with a focus on TMS. Communicate directly with carriers, customers, vendors, and internal management to ensure projects are on track.
Other duties include assisting in special projects, analyses & implementations, developing and running reports through Business Intelligence tools, performing analytics and metrics for client-specific requests, and assisting in all customer management activities.
TMS Administration
  • Administer and maintain the TMS environment, including:
  • User management, permissions, and system configurations
  • Planning parameters, routing guides, and optimization settings
  • Codes, qualifiers, and master data setup for client implementations
  • Manage configuration of TMS components such as dock scheduling, appointment calendars, and incident reporting
  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking records and system data integrity
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve system-related issues through ticketing tools
  • Handle and resolve tickets by engaging cross-functional team members

Client Integration & Data Management
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between client ERP/WMS systems and the TMS
  • Monitor inbound data flows and validate data accuracy within the TMS
  • Develop and execute test scenarios for orders and loads during implementation
  • Troubleshoot integration errors and coordinate resolution across IT and business teams
  • Identify, log, and communicate integration issues, creating tasks and coordinating resolution with relevant teams.
  • Create and maintain detailed integration documentation, ensuring updates are communicated to stakeholders

Carrier & Visibility Platform Administration
  • Support carrier onboarding and monitor communication between carriers and visibility platform
  • Investigate and resolve carrier compliance and tracking performance issues
  • Manage user setup, training coordination, and onboarding support within the visibility platform
  • Partner with internal teams to track onboarding progress and escalate issues when necessary

System Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Configure and enhance TMS functionality using:
  • Routing guides, carrier compatibility, and automation rules
  • Multi-stop, multi-modal, and dynamic planning strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, operational workflows, and client experience
  • Support ongoing product enhancements and solution development initiatives

Contract & Rate Management
  • Maintain carrier contracts, including rate schedules, fuel tables, and accessorial charges
  • Validate and test carrier rates to ensure accuracy
  • Support pricing analysis and carrier negotiations in collaboration with leadership
  • Track contract status, documentation, and communication using project management tools
  • Manage carrier correspondence and pricing workflows through ticketing systems

Project Coordination & Issue Resolution
  • Manage and resolve tickets related to system, carrier, and operational issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Track and update tasks in project management tools
  • Communicate updates and resolutions to internal and external stakeholders

Time & Task Management
  • Accurately track time and tasks within project management systems
  • Maintain high standards of task documentation and productivity tracking
  • Continuously leverage tools and resources to improve efficiency and organization

Other Responsibilities
  • Assistance on special projects, analyses, and client implementations
  • All other job duties that may be assigned.

Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or client-facing environment, preferably with exposure to multiple software platforms or systems
  • Experience with project management tools, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and/or automation platforms is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
