Inventory Analyst
Location: Eau Claire, WI
Position: Full-time, salaried beginning at $63,000 to $72,000
ย 
Growing importer of residential lighting products is seeking a dedicated and qualified inventory analyst to work on-site at one of the companyโ€™s main customers, one of the largest home improvement centers in the US. This position will act as category fulfillment expert for all SKUs pertaining to the importer. It requires the ability to work independently towards a given set of objectives while coordinating activities between corporate and the customer. The individual needs to be highly analytical, well-versed with MS Office suite and enterprise software, as well as pro-active with excellent communication and time management skills. Benefits package and growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inventory and sales analyses using the customerโ€™s ERP and forecasting systems as well as MS Excel.ย 
  • Determine the effect of specific marketing activities on sales and inventory.
  • Use promotional lift analysis for the purpose of demand and inventory planning.
  • Create necessary purchase orders and manage them through the supply chain.
  • Perform weekly and monthly reporting on all aspects of inventory and sales.ย 
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting for operations and sales management.
  • Make recommendations aiming to improve inventory and sales situation and coordinate the successful execution between corporate and the customer.ย 

Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of independent work in a loosely structured and dynamic environment.ย 
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and with the customer.ย 
  • Advanced user capability of ERP systems and MS Excel, including capability to extract data and create reports.ย 
  • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.ย 
  • Structured, thorough and detail-oriented in performing tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.ย 
  • May include some travel (<10%).
