Job description

Inventory Control Clerk
Our client is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team on a Furst-to-Hire basis. The primary responsibility of the Inventory Control Clerk is to ensure that inventory is accurate and up to date. The Inventory Control Clerk will coordinate activity between various groups to gather inventory information, maintain current shipping records and maintain details on expected incoming inventory. The Inventory Control Clerk will provide and receive updates on inventory-related issues.
Hours: 6am – 2:30pm M-F
Pay: $17.00/hour

Inventory Control Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the physical inventory count within the facility
  • Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe storage area
  • Confirm all items are labeled properly and easily accessible
  • Conduct daily cycle counts
  • Update inventory records to confirm stock aligns with system records; report inventory variances in a timely manner
  • Assist other departments and teams by providing current stock level information
  • Ensure products are stored in optimal conditions; report any damaged, expired or unreliable goods
