Job description

As a CPI Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for the physical or administrative tasks associated with maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
If you've ever wondered what owning your own business is like, just ask an Employee Owner of Chatsworth Products (CPI). Better yet, become one! CPI has an immediate need for an Inventory Control Clerk CPI's Round Rock, Texas location.
As a CPI Inventory Control Clerk, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world's digital technology. Day to day, you will, Compile and keep records of quantity, type and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise or supplies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
  • Counts material and posts totals to inventory property records.
  • Responsible for completing physical inventories / cycle counts/ random or receipt audits /reconciliations
  • Monitors and controls inventory integrity.
  • Maintains product identification and location program.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
