Job description

Inventory Analyst

Based in Sugar Land, Texas, PG Golf LLC is the world’s largest recycled golf ball company and leading golf course supplier. Our brand promise is to build lasting relationships by exceeding expectations through integrity and a passion for golf. PG Golf LLC is looking for an Inventory Clerk who can lead a new project to build and start up a golf ball refinishing plant in operations. No Sponsorship offered for this position. Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring alignment between physical inventory and system transactions for all incoming, outgoing, and stored goods. This role serves as a critical link between sorting, warehouse, and production operations, facilitating the flow of inventory information across departments. The Inventory Administrator coordinates inventory counts, analyzes discrepancies, supports corrective actions, and provides accurate reporting to ensure inventory integrity, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted production processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain and update Building Sort Grade Sheet data.
  • Prepare and monitor Sorting Daily Production reports, including upgrade, downgrade, and wrong model tracking sheets.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency by coordinating recycled inventory cycle counts, analyzing count results, communicating findings with operations leadership, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Maintain accurate non-recycled inventory records and support operational efficiency by coordinating cycle count activities, analyzing inventory data, communicating results with key stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of refinished inventory by coordinating cycle count activities, analyzing inventory data, communicating findings with operational leadership, and implementing corrective actions to resolve discrepancies and maintain effective inventory control.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain preferred. High school diploma or equivalent with combined experience in Inventory Control.
  • 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting)
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and generate reports
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, stock control, and reconciliation processes
