Zantech is looking for a talented Logistician to contribute to the success of our upcoming Logistics and Sustainment Support Services contract for an Onsite role based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.
The Logistician will play a crucial role in providing logistics support services for planning and execution of federal programs through application of current integrated products and logistics support guidance. The Logistician assists with preparation, review and update of documentation, procedures, planning and projects including coordination and development of product support, logistics products, processes, and directives. Additionally, the Logistician will ensure logistics readiness and sustainment across all required systems through comprehensive product support planning and documentation management.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
  • Provide input and recommendations to programmatic products, processes and documentation based on comprehensive knowledge of Army regulations and policy
  • Coordinate and define logistics requirements for milestone decisions and independent logistics assessments
  • Coordinate review of product support and logistics documentation between CPE staff, Management Council, and CPE program offices
  • Review Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Materiel Release packages, Item Unique Identification Plans, Core Logistics Analysis, Core Depot Assessments, Product Support Business Case Analysis, Independent Logistics assessment documents, and Acquisition Decision Memorandums
  • Assist CPE by providing input, analysis and recommendations on programmatic documentation
  • Prepare and review miscellaneous reports for senior management
  • Assist with formulation of short and long-range logistics and product support planning
  • Develop internal controls, policy standards, and procedures
  • Update controls, standards and procedures based on current and new logistics regulations, laws, directives and processes
  • Provide input and recommendations on logistics resource planning and budgetary products
  • Plan and coordinate OPS 29 depot maintenance and transportation budgetary process
  • Support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Program Reviews and Weapon System Reviews (WSR)
  • Collect and analyze data for tasks, projects and initiatives
  • Attend fielding synchronization meetings and brief CPE systems information for Unit Set Fielding
  • Support logistics audits and audit readiness testing
  • Support CPE efforts to assist Program Offices in managing property in APSR and DST
  • Coordinate with Program offices to collect data and report on fielded equipment and overseas operations

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
  • 12+ years of progressive logistics and product support management experience in DoD environment.
  • Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Army regulation and policy
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of Industry standard technical skills: GFEBS proficiency, Army logistics systems, AR 700-series knowledge, depot maintenance planning, POM/WSR processes.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of AR 700-127, AR 700-138, AR 710-series, AR 735-5
  • Experience with Life Cycle Sustainment Plans and Materiel Release packages required

Preferred Education/Certifications:
  • DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level III (Industry standard)
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) (Industry standard)
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Industry standard)
  • Master's degree in Logistics or related field (Industry standard)

Required Security Clearance:
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret trust or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
