Job description

Job Requirements

Position Summary

The Mobile Logistics Coordinator is a Class A Driver responsible for driving mobile units for Bearden Josey Center for Breast Health and Occupational Health, coordinating preventive maintenance for mobile trailers and tractors, maintain regulatory requirements for DHEC, SCDOT and other applicable agencies as pertains to vehicles.  Liaison for the department managers to the garage, drivers and facilities.  Point of contact for mobile health staff in the event of mechanical issues with trailer(s).  Review and prepare route and parking locations for scheduled mobile health visits.  Plan and track the mobile units' delivery and pick-up ensuring accuracy and quality when utilizing other drivers.

  • Skin cancer screenings 

Minimum Requirements

Education           

         HS Diploma/GED

Experience        

         N/A

 

License/Registration/Certifications       

         CDL class A license

 

Preferred Requirements

Preferred Education      

         Automotive Technologies degree or related field

Preferred Experience   

         3 years driving class A vehicles and/or vehicle service center management experience

 

Preferred License/Registration/Certifications   

         ASE certification(s)

Core Job Responsibilities

         Deliver and pick up mobiles from designated screening locations

         Prepare units for arrival of clinical staff to begin the day's work

         Schedule preventive maintenance for trailers and tractors

         Maintain regulatory compliance with DHEC, SCDOT, etc....

         Plan and track mobile site visits when utilizing other drivers

         Maintain exterior of all vehicles

         Assist mobile health staff with mechanical issues

         Point of contact for vendors needing access to mobile units

         Maintain clean driving record

         Fueling trucks and generators.  Filling and emptying holding tanks.

         Other duties as assigned
